Denizli: where Turkish travertine comes from
Travertine is limestone laid down by mineral springs: warm, calcium-rich water rises, cools and leaves stone behind, layer on layer. The white terraces at Pamukkale are that process still happening in the open, and the quarries around Denizli cut the same stone from deposits laid down long ago.
That is why one region gives so many shades — Classic Light, Ivory and Royal Cream, warm Gold, Rustic and Scabas, cool Silver, Philadelphia and Noche — and why several of them can share a container and still sit well together on a wall. Our factory is in Akhan, Pamukkale, in the same region.
Travertine or marble
Travertine splits with an open, slightly porous face in creams, golds, browns and silvers, and reads warm on a wall. Marble breaks sharper, with more crystal and contrast: Diana Royal, Tundra Grey, Muğla White, white and black marble. Both are natural stone all the way through; nothing is cast, moulded or coloured.
What we make
Split face ledger panels in 6 × 24, 6 × 18 and 6 × 12 inch, about 2–3 cm thick. XL panels in 9 × 24 inch, about 3–4 cm thick, in split face and in honed or sandblasted 2D and 3D faces, with 9 × 18 inch XL corners. Loose split face strips 10 cm high in free lengths, 2.1 cm thick, and 5 × 15 cm strips. Split face and tumbled travertine mosaics.
Everything is wall stone: fireplaces, feature walls, backsplashes, columns, facades and garden walls.
How buying from us works
Tell us the products, colours and quantities for your market. We send samples before an order is confirmed, so you choose from the stone itself rather than a photograph. The minimum order is 100 m², and one container can carry several colours and products.
The stone is packed in strapped wooden crates, heat-treated to ISPM 15. An XL crate holds 108 panels, 15.06 m² (about 162 sq ft), and a 20 ft container takes 26 of them, 391.56 m² (about 4,215 sq ft). Production and loading take about four weeks from order confirmation, and we ship FOB Izmir: your forwarder books the ocean freight from there.
Who we sell to
Importers, distributors and stone yards in the United States, Canada, Europe and the Middle East, and now Australia. We do not sell to the public; we sell the container that stocks the yard they buy from.
Strips and mosaics
The same stone as loose split face strips and tumbled mosaics, for large walls and for the details panels do not reach.
Questions about buying natural stone from Turkey
Are you a manufacturer or a trader?
A manufacturer. We split, bond and pack the stone in our own factory in Akhan, Pamukkale, Denizli, and export it ourselves.
What is the minimum order?
100 m². A container does not have to carry one product: several colours and products can be mixed in one load.
Can I see samples first?
Yes. We send samples before an order is confirmed, because natural stone varies and you should approve the stone you are buying.
How long does an order take, and on what terms?
Production and loading take about four weeks after order confirmation. We ship FOB Izmir in ISPM 15 heat-treated wooden crates; your forwarder arranges the ocean freight and confirms the schedule to your port.
